1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chaplain XT (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Chaplain XT (“we,” “our,” or “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Chaplain XT provides AI-powered chaplaincy tools for healthcare settings, including denomination-sensitive prayer generation, encounter tracking, round management, team coordination, and analytics. The Service is designed to assist hospital chaplains and does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or pastoral counseling.
3. Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized by your healthcare institution to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activities under your account. Institutional accounts require authorized administrator designation.
4. Subscription and Payment
Starter: Free for individual chaplains. 50 encounters per month.
Professional: $49/month or $490/year. 500 encounters per month, team of 5.
Enterprise: Custom pricing. Unlimited encounters, HIPAA BAA, SSO.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
The Service is for legitimate healthcare chaplaincy purposes only. You may not enter Protected Health Information beyond what the system accepts (first name, room number). You may not use the Service to provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or therapy. You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures.
6. AI-Generated Content
Prayers generated by the Service are AI-generated starting points. They are not authoritative theological or pastoral guidance. Chaplains are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and delivering prayers appropriately. We grant you a non-exclusive license to use generated prayers for pastoral care purposes.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THEOLOGICAL ACCURACY, UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CHAPLAIN XT IS A TOOL, NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR CLINICAL PASTORAL EDUCATION, PASTORAL JUDGMENT, OR THE MINISTRY OF PRESENCE.
8. Limitation of Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING ANY CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR PASTORAL OUTCOMES, PATIENT EXPERIENCES, OR THEOLOGICAL DISPUTES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
